They've Made "Family" a Dirty Word

They are stealing our language. The word "family" in the mouth of the likes of Baird and Day is positively repulsive. It conjurs up visions of a certain someone's ideal German family, with the daughter in a pinnafore and mother serving "the head of the family" dinner. Interesting how it was used so much on the day they announced major funding cuts to Status of Women Canada. They are now working on the word "Canadians" - how dare they use that word - that's what the gollums do - they steal someone else's precious and use it to be petty, mean spirited and nasty. Well, we all know what happened to gollum.

The funding cuts to SoW was administrative, not program cuts.

If there had been projects cut, don't you think the Status of Women would be holding a news conference instead of opposition bloggers trying to mislead the masses?
