What's Going On at CTV with Mr. Fife?
Right leaning, yes, but usually attempting calm rational discussion, the CTV news gang are like spinning tops lately. Tonight, Robert Fife on the new CTV polls putting Harper ahead was positively giddy with ... with what? Is it perceived power? Is he happy because he thinks that his banging away at Dion and his endless support of Harper were instrumental in the poll results? Is he happy because he knows his bosses will be happy that the dreaded left (translated everyone else's centre left) may not return to power. Is he just personally happy because he's a right wing nutter? Or is it just the smell of blood that gets him going? What a performance!! And all those Liberals he continually quotes, if they exist, would they please have the courage of their convictions and come out of the shadows. Personally, I think he's probably making something out of nothing.

That was quite the performance wasn't it. He makes it sound like there are looming Liberal riots in the halls of parliament. However, that poll is the worst I have seen, Dion has work to do for sure.
Fife is just a sensationalist. He'd be saying the exact same things if the Conservatives were in this position.
CTV has been nasty to both parties in the past.
Fife always acts like that when he has an exclusive. Yes, and the smell of blood.
it seems the media is going to play another game against the Liberals. They did that in the last election and now they are ready to play it again. It seems its time for the Liberal Party to go out and tell the world about the bias of the media.
Mr. Fife claims that the Liberal Cacus is craking at the seems I don't think thats even close to being true. I think you Liberals have to make your point its time for you to stand up the monkies running the news.

Conservatives claim media bias = mass paranoia
Liberal claims media bias = nefarious media conspriacy
OK, thanks glad I've got that straight.
You might want to take this time to consider what its like to have the shoe on the other foot. And if you're really intuitive, you might want to compare the shear volumn of claimed media bias against the right, with your percieved (and solitary) issue of Fife's right-leaning bias.
Sorry, I know you're used to it, but its not actually the job of the media to explain why everything the Conservatives do is bad and everything the Liberals do is good. The media is not the propaganda wing of the LPC.

must be why they just recently described a holocaust denier and former liberal leadership contender as "far-right"...
