Don't Let Him Sucker You Again
Harper's strategy is completely transparent: he's scared to death of the Coalition so he is trivializing the NDP and the Bloc, appealing to the ego of the Liberals, suckering the Liberals into "discussions" so that he can say he is working cooperatively and then he'll put out a budget that the Liberals will look stupid rejecting since he will have consulted them, and then, just like with the disastrous war in Afghanistan, the Liberals will have to wear it along with him. The NDP will be so pissed at the Liberals any future cooperation will be impossible and Harper will have everyone where he wants them, divided and conquered, and the bullying and taunting will begin all over again.
Make him put his cards on the table first, all of them! Or better still, just vote non- confidence in the throne speech.

Harper is not scared to death of the coalition. Canadians are scared of a coalition.
PMSH wants Iggy at the table, for the good of Canada.
A change of government in the middle of an economic crisis would be disasterous for this country.
Particularly an unelected government (just look at the uproar over your unelected leader and multiply that by 35Million)
"Scared to death of the Coalition?" Hardly. The vast majority of Canadians don't like or trust the coalition so why should Harper be scared of this motley crew? All you have to do is mention Jack Layton and Industry and Commerce in one sentence and people will laugh and laugh and laugh.
Wilson and Prairie, you guys are so full of it. Harper doesn't intend to do anything about the economic impacts on the people, he doesn't think the government should have anything to do with the crisis, so he can just go off and have a self-imposed holiday and let the chips fall where they may.
Ask yourself this question. Why is Canada better off than most if not all G20 countries? Because Conservatives prepared for this time for the last 3 years. And what has the coalition suggested? Throwing 30 billion dollars into a badly run auto sector. The law of the jungle should prevail. Let the fittest survive. Can you imagine if Alberta was to go cap in hand to Ottawa and ask for a bail out of the oil industry? There would Liberals and NDP falling over themselves to stop those billionaires from getting federal money.
That's a very good point. You should send it along to the Executive Branch. If you think there's a remote chance they might take notice of course.
Well it seems like they didn't need my suggestion. Ignatieff hit on all my points of concern in his press conference. I am satisfied for now that he has a handle on Harper's games.
Susan, once again you are so refreshingly bang-on point.
You must be feeling oh so very special to have the 2 REFORMaTORY juvenile dweeb pretenders of wilson & prairie-kid both commenting here ... big smile.
Wilson states … “a change of government in the middle of an economic crisis would be disasterous for this country” … would it really, according to whose self-serving agenda wilson AND what’s your qualification for making this comment ??
While on the one hand, wilson goes on to make reference to an “unelected government” AND an “unelected leader” … on the other hand if he’s older than 12, he knows these references are spurious & deliberately misleading. Respectively, which is it wilson are you qualified to comment OR are you 12 years old ??
PrairieKid tells us Harpy is hardly "scared to death of the Coalition“ … perhaps not at this moment, however this is very rich Kid as over these coming weeks you will see your precious Harpy reduced to a pathetic grovelling shadow of himself.
Harpy must go ... in the minds of some, the only way he might be allowed to stay would be if he complies to a neutering of his sociopathic tendencies
(his personality disorder is clearly marked by significant antisocial behavior) ... but alas Harpy cannot help himself ... therefore the only viable alternative is that Harpy must go … the sooner, the better.
Kid goes on to state that : “the vast majority of Canadians don't like or trust the coalition” … seriously what qualification do you have to make this claim kid ?? The polls are very volatile right now due to the general uncertainty and the crap being served up to Canaidans via your Harpy propaganda machine !!!
Take away this totally bogus propaganda machine and all that remains is the fake wizard-boy, behind the curtain with a water pistol arsenal.
