I Knew He'd Use the Recession as a Cover

Just as I said, H. doesn't care about solving the crisis or helping out Canadian 'families', he's just going to use the crisis to pursue the same agenda he has had from day one: cut all the things he doesn't like, starting with anything that is a check on his power, like the civil service, then continuing on to such frills as the cultural identity of this country, and while he's at it make all things easier at all times for big business, especially oil.

I was in a Vancouver cab with a driver originally from Bangladesh yesterday. He gets it, too bad not enough Canadians do. Too bad the country wil be utterly changed before they will realize how stupid they were.
