Ignatieff Needs to be Out There

He should be making statements about the economy every few days - there's certainly plenty to talk about. He needs to be bringing out his team as Obama has. He needs to speak directly to the people of Canada before Christmas, a Christmas address so to speak. He needs to create some momentum, not just work away behind the scenes. He should be out there discussing a possible coaliton and other scenarios with Canadians. He needs to be doing everything Harper isn't. And somebody, assuming they all haven't gone away for holidays, should be showing signs of a coherent fundraising strategy.

Great post! We need to act like a government in waiting, with a "budget in waiting"..(see one of my previous posts on this). We need to capture the image of the party doing the work of the nation - even while Harper sleeps. He will be the guy with the "attack 10%ers", while we will be the ones providing the "real solutions".

I totally agree..I hope his handlers know what they are doing, but then again Harper may steal everything he says. Where would Ignatieff appear?

I agree as well, he needs to get his face and opinions out there so the Canadian public can get to know him and his ideas.
