CTV's Question Period and its Anti Dion Cast

Well Craig, your fellow ctv'er Duffy went over to the tabloid side long ago with his blatant anti liberal questions and spin, but you I thought had more integrity. When you laughed at Stephane Dion as a competent campaigner today, you fell off my list, and Jane asking whether it would be a con minority or majority showed a bizarre bias as well. I never missed Question Period in the past but you guys have lost my interest, not that you care I guess.

More Cuts to Culture by the Cons

Harper's always wanted to shrug off any connection with that culture "stuff" - he's so impatient for full power, he's trying to put his 'hidden agenda' into the next gear without a mandate. As someone quoted Dion, there's more culture in a bowl of yogurt than in the con party. But there's more to this: the programs he is cutting promote joint projects with European countries and we all know how the cons and their friends to the south can't stand those Europeans - because they're smarter, more peaceful and generally more democratic than the US!! Harper and his government (certainly not 'our' government) are also part of the gang that is trying to amalgamate the US and Canada 'by stealth', so all ties to Europe work against this plot. Charest understands this and he's trying to make sure the new North American regime does not include Quebec. Anyway, open your eyes everyone, the bully is ruining our country one stroke of the pen at a time.

Thanks 'Frankly Canadian' for This

I've always suspected this but thanks to a comment by Frankly Canadian in my last post, here it is:

"As an interesting project, last night I decided to compare the previous occupations of the various members of parliament. I found most of the Conservatives came from a background of insurance, promotions, advertising, consulting, in short careers that require selling either a product or themselves. In contrast I found most Liberals to have backgrounds in education, law, business management, public service, in short a more educated type of vocation, just an interesting observation.".

Says it all doesn't it and explains why they can't develop policy - they have no clue what a policy is.

More Electioneering at the Taxpayers' Expense

Received another piece of conservative junk mail - this one was as close to campaigning in an election as you can get - it had a picture of a ballot on it! Why are the cons allowed to spend our money for con party purposes? Where does one register a complaint about such practices?
